Garth Jennings
Garth Jennings rose to prominence in the late 1990s and 2000s as one half of production company Hammer & Tongs. His work paired technical inventiveness with visual wit, from the time-lapse evolution story in Fatboy Slim's "Right Here, Right Now" (1998) to the single-take, stop-motion hybrid of R.E.M.'s "Imitation Of Life" (2001). He directed music videos for Radiohead, Vampire Weekend, and Blur before moving into feature filmmaking, including the live-action adaptation of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
