Jake Scott
Jake Scott brought a cinematic, emotionally intimate approach to alternative rock throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. His work with R.E.M. on "Everybody Hurts" established his ability to build narrative tension through close-ups and careful pacing, while videos for Radiohead's "Fake Plastic Trees" and The Cranberries showcased his preference for naturalistic lighting and sustained character focus. Scott is the son of filmmaker Ridley Scott and later transitioned to directing feature films and commercials.
