Josh Taft was active in early-1990s music video, particularly within the grunge and hip-hop scenes. He directed performance-driven videos for Pearl Jam ("Alive," "Even Flow"), Stone Temple Pilots' "Plush," and Cypress Hill's "Insane In The Brain," often using grainy film stock, high-contrast lighting, and live-energy aesthetics.
