Steve Barron
Steve Barron directed some of the most technically ambitious music videos of the early MTV era, particularly his rotoscoped pencil-sketch animation for a-ha's "Take On Me" in 1985. Earlier, he had worked with Michael Jackson on "Billie Jean" and created the computer-animated sequences for Dire Straits' "Money For Nothing." Barron maintained a strong relationship with a-ha across six videos and later moved into feature film directing.
