Written by Eric Erlandson and Courtney Love in late 1991, this song from Hole's second album Live Through This was released as a single in October 1994 following bassist Kristen Pfaff's death. Love has admitted the lyrics were about her insecurity regarding Kurt Cobain's romantic interest in her, and the track peaked at number 4 on the US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart before being ranked 208 in Rolling Stone's 2021 list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
