Don't Be Afraid of the Dark
Released in July 1988, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark was Robert Cray's follow-up to his breakthrough album Strong Persuader. The album peaked at number 32 on the Billboard 200 and remained on the chart for 60 weeks. While unable to match Strong Persuader's mainstream success, it demonstrated Cray's continued commercial viability in contemporary blues.
