Electrolite
A piano-based ballad dedicated to Hollywood and the closing twentieth century, "Electrolite" closed R.E.M.'s 1996 album New Adventures in Hi-Fi. Stipe initially objected to including it but was convinced by bandmates Peter Buck and Mike Mills; the video was directed by Peter Care and Spike Jonze.
