Fields of Gold
Written by Sting for his fourth solo album Ten Summoner's Tales (1993), this pastoral ballad was inspired by the barley fields surrounding his English country estate. The song has become one of Sting's most beloved compositions, later covered by Eva Cassidy in a widely celebrated rendition.
