Written by Shania Twain and Robert John "Mutt" Lange, "From This Moment On" was released on July 14, 1998, as the fourth single from her third studio album Come On Over. The song reached number two in Australia, number seven in New Zealand, and number four in both Canada and the United States. The music video, directed by Paul Boyd, depicts Twain walking down a hallway alone in a dress and later appearing with a symphony orchestra.
