"Get It On Tonite" was written by Darren Benbow, Jörg Evers, Montell Jordan, Brian Palmer, and LeVar A. Wilson, released in 1999 from Jordan's fourth album and utilizing a sample of Claudja Barry's 1976 single "Love for the Sake of Love." The song reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100, spent three consecutive weeks at number one on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, and sold 800,000 copies domestically.
