Outkast - Git Up, Git Out

Git Up, Git Out

Released in October 1994 as the third and final single from Outkast's debut album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, "Git Up, Git Out" features Cee-Lo and Big Gipp of Goodie Mob and was produced by Organized Noize. This conscious Southern story-rap about the dangers of complacency was later sampled in Jay-Z's 1998 hit "Can I Get A..." and Macy Gray's 1999 single "Do Something," and appeared in the 2006 film ATL.
