Hallelujah, I Love Her So
Ray Charles wrote and released this rhythm and blues song in 1956 on the Atlantic label, peaking at number five on the Billboard R&B chart. The song features a sophisticated horn arrangement and a memorable tenor sax solo by Don Wilkerson. It was included on Charles' self-titled debut LP in 1957 and is loosely based on Ike Turner's "Get It Over Baby" from 1953.
