Written by Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, and Tom Petty, this song was released in October 1988 as the opening track of Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1. Originally intended as a bonus track on a Harrison single, the record company insisted it was too good for that purpose, leading to the formation of the Wilburys. It peaked at number 45 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 2 on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart, and number 21 on the UK Singles Chart, with a music video directed by David Leland.
