Written by Dido, Pascal Gabriel, and Paul Statham about Dido's then-boyfriend Bob Page, "Here with Me" was released in May 1999 in the United States and served as the theme song for the television programme Roswell. The song peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart when released there in February 2001, becoming Dido's second consecutive top-five single following her collaboration with Eminem on "Stan".
