Released in September 1997 as the first single from Green Day's fifth album Nimrod, this track reached number five on the US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and number nine on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The song later appeared on the band's compilation albums International Superhits! (2001) and God's Favorite Band (2017).
