Released on March 22, 2005, it topped the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks and reached number one in Australia, earning nominations for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Record of the Year at the 48th Grammy Awards. The music video, directed by Paul Hunter and featuring Stefani as a cheerleader at a California high school, won Best Choreography at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards.
