"I'm Not in Love" was written by Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman, and released in May 1975 as the second single from 10cc's third album The Original Soundtrack. The song became the band's second number-one single in the UK, topping the chart for two weeks, and also reached the top 10 in several countries including the United States. It is known for its innovative backing track composed mostly of multitracked vocals, created after Godley suggested the band try a new version using just voices.
