Released on May 28, 1974, as the title track of Olivia Newton-John's fourth studio album, this song helped the LP become her first to top the Billboard Pop album chart and her first million-selling album in America. The album also spawned "I Honestly Love You," which became Newton-John's first number-one US single and earned her two Grammy Awards at the 17th Annual Grammy Awards on March 1, 1975.
