Ironic

Written by Alanis Morissette and Glen Ballard and released in February 1996 from her third studio album Jagged Little Pill, "Ironic" topped the Canadian RPM 100 Hit Tracks chart for six weeks and reached number four in the United States. The music video, directed by French director Stéphane Sednaoui, shows Morissette driving through a winter landscape while playing multiple roles as her passengers, and it won three MTV Video Music Awards in 1996.
