Co-written by Stevie Wonder, Syreeta Wright, and Lee Garrett and produced by Wonder in 1970, this single became the Spinners' biggest hit on Motown since they signed with the company in 1964, peaking at number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 3 on the R&B singles chart. The lineup featured original members Pervis Jackson, Henry Fambrough, Billy Henderson, Bobby Smith, and lead vocalist G. C. Cameron, and the song was the first Wonder produced for another act by himself.
