It's Your Thing
Written by O'Kelly Isley, Ronald Isley, and Rudolph Isley, "It's Your Thing" was released in 1969 as an artistic response to Motown chief Berry Gordy's demanding hold on his artists after the Isleys left the label in late 1968. The funk anthem peaked at No. 420 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
