Released as the second single from Jeff Buckley's only studio album Grace in May 1995, this track became his most commercially successful song in the US, peaking at number 19 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. Written by Buckley, the song features his soaring falsetto vocals over an orchestral string arrangement. It also reached number 54 on the UK Singles Chart, his highest-charting single during his lifetime.
