Live and Let Die
Written by Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney for the 1973 James Bond film, this Wings recording was the first rock song to open a Bond film and reunited McCartney with former Beatles producer George Martin. The song reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the first Bond theme nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song, though it lost to Barbra Streisand's "The Way We Were."
