311's cover of The Cure's classic appeared in 2004, featuring the songwriting of all six original Cure members: Simon Gallup, Roger O'Donnell, Robert Smith, Porl Thompson, Lol Tolhurst, and Boris Williams. The band brought their signature alternative rock and rap rock style to the new wave original.
