Written by Paula Jean Brown, James Whelan, and Mitchel Young Evans for Belinda Carlisle's 1986 debut solo album following her departure from the Go-Go's, this song peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number one on Canada's RPM 100 Singles chart. The track was later included in the 2018 Broadway jukebox musical Head over Heels, which featured Go-Go's music and two of Carlisle's solo songs.
