Pulp - Mis-Shapes

Mis-Shapes

Inspired by Cocker's experiences socializing in Sheffield as an outcast, this Different Class track features lyrics calling for misfits to unite and take over. Released as a double A-side with "Sorted for E's & Wizz" in September 1995, it reached number two in the UK charts. The song's growing popularity with "townies" after release made Cocker uncomfortable, given its message about social outcasts.
