Written by Eric Foster White and produced by L.A. Reid and Babyface for Whitney Houston's 1990 album I'm Your Baby Tonight, this uptempo new jack swing track was released in June 1991. The song peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Houston's first leading single to miss the top ten, though it reached number 8 on the R&B chart, and its music video, directed by Lionel C. Martin, was inspired by the 1958 film Vertigo.
