My Own Worst Enemy

Written by A. Jay Popoff and Jeremy Popoff, "My Own Worst Enemy" was serviced to US radio in January 1999 as the lead single from Lit's album A Place in the Sun. The song hit number one on Billboard's Hot Modern Rock Tracks and was the top-played song of the year on that format. Its music video was filmed by Gavin Bowden in a Long Beach bowling alley, and the song has been certified double platinum by the RIAA.
