On My Own

"On My Own" was written and produced by Burt Bacharach and Carole Bayer Sager for Patti LaBelle's eighth studio album Winner in You (1986). The music video depicted LaBelle and McDonald on a split screen performing simultaneously on different coasts, each walking through apartments with identical layouts but different decor, finishing the song on separate porches that made clear their separation by the continent.
