Ramblin' Man
Written and sung by guitarist Dickey Betts and inspired by a 1951 Hank Williams song of the same name, this track became the Allman Brothers Band's first and only top 10 single, peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1973 behind Cher's "Half-Breed". Released as the lead single from Brothers and Sisters, it was one of bassist Berry Oakley's last contributions to the band.
