Written by Mark King, Phil Gould, and Wally Badarou, this jazz-funk single was released on February 2, 1987 from Level 42's seventh album Running in the Family. The song reached number 6 on the UK singles chart and number 9 in New Zealand, but only climbed to number 83 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It brought Level 42 fame in countries where they were previously little-known, such as the United States, Germany, and Norway.
