Say You, Say Me
Written and recorded by Lionel Richie for the 1985 film White Nights, this ballad hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100, Hot Black Singles, and Adult Contemporary charts in December 1985. Motown excluded it from the film's soundtrack to ensure Richie's first single after Can't Slow Down appeared on their label. The song was instead included on Richie's 1986 album Dancing on the Ceiling.
