Silly Love Songs
Written by Paul and Linda McCartney in response to critics accusing McCartney of writing too many love songs, this 1976 single from Wings at the Speed of Sound became McCartney's 27th American number one as a songwriter. The song made McCartney the first person to have a year-end No. 1 as a member of two distinct acts, following his Beatles hits in 1964 and 1968.
