Smooth Criminal
Written by Michael Jackson and produced with Quincy Jones, "Smooth Criminal" was released as the seventh single from Bad (1987) and reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100. The music video premiered on MTV in 1988 and serves as the centerpiece of the film Moonwalker, featuring a 1930s setting with Jackson in a white suit and fedora paying tribute to Fred Astaire"s The Band Wagon. Jackson also introduced his own signature move, the famous anti-gravity lean, which he later patented in 1992.
