Goodie Mob - Soul Food

Soul Food

The title track from Goodie Mob's 1995 debut album on LaFace Records was a hit single, and the album included the first recorded use of the term "dirty south" on a track of the same name. Featuring Cee-Lo Green, Big Gipp, Khujo, and T-Mo, with guest appearances from Outkast's André 3000 and Big Boi, the album was certified gold in 1996 and is regarded alongside Outkast's Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik as one of the two albums that brought southern hip hop to the mainstream.
