Written by Max Martin and Rami, "Stronger" was released as the third single from Britney Spears' second studio album Oops!... I Did It Again on October 31, 2000. The music video was directed by Joseph Kahn and received a nomination for Best Pop Video at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards. The song peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was later certified platinum by the RIAA for selling over 1,000,000 units.
