Tears Dry On Their Own

From Winehouse's second studio album Back to Black (2006), this track interpolates Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" (1967) with new lyrics by Winehouse and music penned by Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson. Released as the album's fourth single on 13 August 2007, it was later featured in the documentary Amy (2015) and sampled by Skepta in "Can't Play Myself (A Tribute to Amy)" in October 2023.
