Written by Igor Cavalera, Max Cavalera, Andreas Kisser, and Paulo Jr., this song was released as the second single from Sepultura's fifth studio album Chaos A.D. in 1993. According to co-songwriter Max Cavalera in a 2017 interview, the song "was about all different territorial wars, from L.A. gangs like Crips and Bloods, to drug wars in Brazil, to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine."
