Built around a sample of Diana Ross's 1976 "Love Hangover," this second single from The Boy Is Mine album topped both the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B Singles chart in 1998, becoming Monica's first number one as a solo artist. Written by Tamara Savage and Jermaine Dupri, with Dupri also providing production and additional vocals, the song explores the protagonist's battle with sexual temptations on a first date.
