Released as the second single from Digital Underground's debut album Sex Packets in January 1990, this track reached number 11 on the pop chart and topped the Billboard Rap Singles chart. Sung by Shock G's alter ego "Humpty Hump," the song received a nomination for Best Rap Video at the 1990 MTV Video Music Awards. In 2021, Rolling Stone ranked it number 241 on their list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
