This debut single from Jordan's album of the same name is a tribute to South Central Los Angeles party culture, featuring Jordan singing over an enhanced drumbeat sample of Slick Rick's "Children's Story" with an interpolation of Bob James's "Nautilus." The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks starting April 15, 1995, and sold one million copies domestically, earning platinum certification from the RIAA. The music video was directed by Hype Williams.
