Together Again
Written by Janet Jackson, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, and René Elizondo Jr., "Together Again" topped the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks in December 1997 and was inspired by Jackson's experience of losing a friend to AIDS. The single was certified platinum by the RIAA, sold six million copies worldwide, and reached number one in the Netherlands with two music videos produced: the original directed by Seb Janiak showing Jackson in a futuristic African paradise, and a 'Deeper Remix' version directed by Elizondo Jr.
