Touch, Peel And Stand
Released in July 1997 as the lead single from Days of the New's self-titled debut album, "Touch, Peel and Stand" reached number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and held the spot for a then-record 16 weeks. The song was named the "Greatest of All-Time Mainstream Rock Song" by Billboard in 2021, and Travis Meeks credited drummer Matt Taul's cymbal-heavy percussion as essential to the track.
