Unfinished Sympathy

The second single from Blue Lines (1991) topped the Dutch Top 40 and was a top-20 hit in Germany, Switzerland, and the UK, with vocals by Shara Nelson. Released under the temporary name "Massive" to avoid a radio ban during the Gulf War, the song features string orchestration composed by Jonny Dollar and arranged by Wil Malone. The music video, directed by Baillie Walsh, was filmed as a single continuous shot of Nelson walking through a Los Angeles neighbourhood.
