Written by the Spice Girls, Matt Rowe, and Richard "Biff" Stannard for their debut album Spice, this dance-pop anthem about female friendship over romantic relationships was directed by Johan Camitz. Released on June 26, 1996, it topped charts in 37 countries by 1997, became the best-selling single by a girl group, and won British Single of the Year at the 1997 Brit Awards.
