Who's Making Love
Written by Stax Records staffers Homer Banks, Bettye Crutcher, Don Davis, and Raymond Jackson, this 1968 single became Johnnie Taylor's breakthrough hit, reaching number one on the Billboard R&B chart and number five on the Billboard Hot 100. The lyrics were inspired by the 1920s novelty song "Who Takes Care of the Caretaker's Daughter (While the Caretaker's Busy Taking Care)," and it featured Booker T. & the M.G.'s with Isaac Hayes on keyboards.
