Written by Stevie Wonder, "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" was released in February 1973 as the second single from his 1972 album Talking Book. The song became Wonder's third number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 and his first number-one on the Easy Listening chart, won him a Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2002.
