After Hours
Written by Lou Reed in 1969, "After Hours" closes the Velvet Underground's self-titled third album and features rare lead vocals by drummer Maureen Tucker. Reed felt the song was so innocent and pure that he could not sing it himself, and its style recalls 1930s Tin Pan Alley songs.
