Pale Blue Eyes
Lou Reed wrote and sang "Pale Blue Eyes," recording a demo with John Cale in May 1965 before it appeared on the 1969 album The Velvet Underground. Despite its title, it was written about someone with hazel eyes, said to be inspired by Reed's first love, Shelley Albin.
