Bloc Party

Bloc Party formed in London in 1999, with the lineup of Kele Okereke, Russell Lissack, Gordon Moakes, and Matt Tong coalescing by 2003. Their 2005 debut album "Silent Alarm" received widespread critical acclaim for its angular post-punk revival sound and intricate guitar work. The album spawned singles like "Banquet" and "Helicopter," establishing the band as key figures in the British indie rock scene of the mid-2000s.
